GAINESVILLE — Gators’ top target and Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin denied a report that he was given an ultimatum on his coaching future with the Rebels.
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday, Kiffin said athletic director Keith Carter did not demand his coach decide prior to a Nov. 28 visit to Mississippi State where he’d be in 2026.
Florida and LSU are in hot pursuit of Kiffin, the ultimate prize in a competitive coaching carousel. Meanwhile, NO. 7 Ole Miss (10-1) wants him to continue the Rebels’ historic push for a CFP berth and sign a contract extension.
