Gators look to end National Signing Day with top 10 class

The Florida Gators enter National Signing Day ranked No. 11 nationally.

By day’s end, coach Dan Mullen’s second class could be ranked inside the top 10 — the first time for UF since 2014.

Only a few players remain in play for the Gators. But there should be plenty of drama.

South Florida will be the key battleground.

UF had the inside track to sign highly touted cornerback Kaiir Elam of The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, until cornerbacks coach Charlton Warren left for Georgia. The Gators still have plenty to sell Elam, the he nephew of former Gators’ All-America safety Matt Elam and one of the nation’s top cornerback prospects.
