Gators eager to make mark on U.S. Olympic track and field trials

GAINESVILLE — Every U.S. Olympic team since 1992 has had one thing in common — at least one athlete coached by Mike Holloway.

The head track and field coach at UF and his Gators have enjoyed notable success at their sport's showcase event. Five of Holloway's athletes have medaled, including three at the 2012 Games in London, where Holloway served as the sprints and relays coach for Team USA.

Now, the Gators look to make their presence felt August in Rio de Janiero.
