UF football coach Dan Mullen admits he has little to do with scheduling, but he made it clear Friday he’s not ducking UCF.
Ever since the College Football Playoff selection committee matched up the Gators and Michigan in the Peach Bowl and UCF and LSU in the Fiesta Bowl, UCF fans have questioned whether Florida tried to block a showdown between the Gators and Knights.
Mullen said he'd be open to playing UCF and sees a two-for-one agreement as a good deal for the Knights. Mullen noted USF agreed to a two-for-one series with UF.
