Gators’ assistant coaches get a pay raise

The Florida Gators were winners on the field in 2019 and their coaching staff were winners off of it.

The Orland Sentinel reported that eight assistants, including strength and conditioning coordinator Nick Savage, received raises in February. In total the raises add $490,000 to the Florida coaching staff budget, bring Dan Mullen’s assistant coaching pool to $6.185 Million.

The biggest jump was linebackers coach Christian Robinson. Robinson was hired in 2017 and given an $80,000 salary in his first season. He got a small bump before the 2019 season but his salary jumps to $290,000 (a $175,000 raise).
