Florida is looking to return to a bowl game for the 43rd time in school history.

The Gators are 21-21 all-time in bowl games. Second-year Florida coach Jim McElwain’s first trip to a bowl game wasn’t a memorable one. The Gators were routed 41-7 by Michigan in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl in Orlando, capping a string of three straight losses against three highly ranked teams.

Here’s a look at some significant bowl records posted by Gator players:

Yards Rushing: Fred Taylor, 234 yards in the 1998 Citrus Bowl against Penn State.
