For the most part, the national media has been optimistic about the Florida Gators entering the 2025 season. After ending 2024 with momentum and having the prospect of a healthy DJ Lagway, Florida has been viewed in a number of preseason rankings as a playoff contender this season.
But the US LBM Coaches Poll (formerly known as the USA Today Coaches Poll) just dropped, and it paints a picture of an uphill battle for Florida in 2025.
