The Florida Gators coaching staff handed out two new offers on Monday and both went out to 2021 prospects.
2021 Florida State offensive line commit Jake Slaughter (6-4, 300, Ocala, FL. Trinity Catholic) was one of those who picked up an offer after he talked with offensive line coach John Hevesy.
“Coach Hevesy did, we had a good little talk on facetime,” Slaughter said on the coach from Florida who offered him. “We just talked about family and how everything was going and he said he wanted to offer me.”
Slaughter wasn’t sure if he would ever get an offer from the Gators but Monday’s news was big to him and his family.
