Just when you think the aerial banner craze couldn't get any more outlandish...
A Florida State fan has raised $1,000 online to fly a pro-Al Golden banner before the FSU-Miami game on Oct. 10 in Tallahassee. That's double the initial goal on Go Fund Me, and it's only been four days. The new goal is $2,013 - an apparent reference to FSU's 2013 national championship season.
The page's creator, Joseph Johnson, politely declined an interview request. But here's how he explains the plan:
