A former Gators football player was arrested Thursday after locking a woman in his room and attempting to sexually batter her, according to Gainesville police.
Daniel Eugene McMillian, 23, who lives in a 3527 SW 20th Ave. apartment, was charged with false imprisonment and attempted sexual battery, an arrest report shows.
McMillian is a customer of the company where the victim works. The victim went to McMillan’s apartment for legitimate business purposes Thursday, the report said.
When the victim entered his room, McMillian locked the door and blocked it. He pulled down his shorts and underwear, exposing his genitals to the victim.
