Former Florida Gators linebacker Daniel McMillian was arrested and charged with attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment on Thursday, according to a Gainesville Police Department arrest report.
The report (PDF), which lists McMillian’s last name as “McMillan,” includes a familiar, dismaying narrative of alleged rape. Per that narrative, McMillian locked a woman who visited McMillian’s apartment for “legitimate business reasons” — her relationship to McMillian is described by explaining that he is a customer of a business that employs her — in his room, then exposed himself to her, and blocked her exit after she told him she was uncomfortable and wanted to leave.
