When the Gators retained Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown III, it was a massive boon for the wide receiver room. Those two by themselves can create plenty of matchup issues and could be one of the best 1-2 punches in the SEC. Admittedly, and perhaps still nursing the scars of the Billy Napier Era, we here at Hail Florida Hail didn’t anticipate the Gators signing any big-name wide receivers out of the transfer portal because so much money had already been locked into Wilson and Brown III.
But this weekend, the Gators proved they aren’t content with just two great wide receivers, and they landed the commitment of Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr.
