Florida’s Kyle Trask to undergo surgery for torn meniscus, per report

Florida Gators freshman Kyle Trask will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus on Wednesday, reports Nick de la Torre of Gator Country.

De la Torre reports that Trask injured the knee late in Florida’s spring camp, and played with the injury in Florida’s spring game, but is expected to be “sidelined” for four to six weeks in the wake of his surgery.

As Florida’s spring practices concluded with the spring game, that means Trask would mostly be sidelined from the unofficial team activities and conditioning that comprise much of the late spring for Gators players.
