One of the more comical moments of the 2025 season for Florida was right after the Gators beat Texas. Then GM Jacob LaFrance tweeted out “Sun Belt Billy and the boys...” as a shot at those who dared to question the ability of Billy Napier to lead the Gators.
As it turned out, Napier would only win one more game before being fired. And given the new job that LaFrance just picked up, his tweet is a candidate for the Old Takes Exposed Hall of Fame.

It was reported over the weekend that LaFrance was following Napier to James Madison and will be the Associate Athletic Director for Football Personnel for the Dukes.
