As should have been obvious, Florida is wearing its traditional blue jerseys and white pants with orange helmets for Saturday’s edition of The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party against Georgia.
Florida and Georgia have both worn their home uniforms with light pants — white for Florida, gray/silver for Georgia — in Jacksonville for the last two years, after athletic directors Jeremy Foley and Greg McGarity came to an agreement to do so in 2014. The game is one of college football’s few color-on-color matchups, and has been restored to the sartorial splendor it enjoyed in the 1960s.
