Florida will face five-seed Virginia on Saturday in Orlando (time TBD) in the Round of 32. The Cavaliers (23-10) advanced with a 76-71 win over 12th-seed UNC Wilmington earlier Thursday afternoon.
Florida led just 33-32 at halftime before pulling away in the second half. Senior point guard Kasey Hill added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Gators, while junior guard Chris Chiozza had all 14 of his points in the second half.
