Florida’s athletic department has posted an advertisement on its university website in the search for a construction management firm. A firm is wanted to lead the building of the Gators’ planned $60 million dollar “stand alone” football facility.

The post describes the responsibilities of the firm as overseeing “pre-construction and construction phases of the projected 135,000 square-foot building that will serve as the primary meeting and training headquarters for the UF football team.”

Florida’s Executive Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Chip Howard tells FloridaGators.com that similar releases to this one are expected throughout 2017 for other projects.
