Think this kind of effort and performance would be tolerated back when Florida legend Brandon Spikes was still suiting up? Absolutely not. On Saturday night in primetime, the Gators hosted Tennessee, but a 10-game home winning streak came to a close.
This one was never close, as Tennessee jumped out to a 31-0 lead and ended up winning 31-11. Florida came out totally flat and it didn't sit well with a lot of people. The long list of course includes Spikes, as the two-time Florida national champ still follows the program quite closely. He took to social media to let everyone know how disappointed he was in the performance and no one can blame him for this:
