Ole Miss infielder Ethan Surowiec has committed to the Florida Gators, multiple sources told Gator Country. Surowiec marks Florida’s ninth addition through the transfer portal this offseason. As a true freshman in 2025, Surowiec went 6-16 (.375) at the plate with two home runs and eight RBI across three starts. Surowiec will have three years of eligibility remaining but will be draft eligible after his sophomore season.
After limited playing time with the Rebels, Surowiec exploded in summer ball with the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League, holding a .427 batting average with seven home runs and 36 RBI in 96 at bats.
