Special report on the Florida Gators volleyball team:
AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 15 Florida volleyball team defeated the Auburn Tigers in straight sets on Wednesday night in the Auburn Arena.
The Gators won the first set 25-17, then followed with a 25-17 victory in the second set. UF secured the match with a 25-17 win in the final frame.
Florida’s offense was paced by a 13-kill effort by Holly Carlton. Thayer Hall pitched in 10 kills, while Rachael Kramer added seven in the win.
Carlton also notched a season-high .600 hitting percentage in the match.
