Florida Gators lacrosse preparing for NCAA tournament

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 19 Florida women’s lacrosse team is set to compete against Johns Hopkins in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

Opening draw is slated for 5 p.m. at the UNC Lacrosse/Soccer Stadium. The game will be streamed on ESPN3 with Matt Krause on the call.

Florida holds the 5-1 series advantage against the Blue Jays, with the last game between the two squads coming back in May of 2014. In games at neutral locations, Florida is 2-0 against Johns Hopkins.

This is the ninth-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament for the Gators.
