The Florida Gators are in a heated battle with LSU, Texas A&M, and Nebraska for the No. 1 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class, Ahmad Hudson. But according to On3’s Corey Bender of Gators Online, Florida is gaining some ground and making a push to be the top candidate to land Hudson.
Hudson, a 6’7”, 240lbs high school junior at Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana is in the middle of a unique season as he is now ranked as a top-20 player in both football and basketball. And according to a May 20 post on X, Hudson declared his intentions to play both collegiately, simply stating, “PSA… my intentions are to play basketball and football at the collegiate level.
