To say that Florida true freshman cornerback C.J. Henderson has gotten off to a good start would be an understatement.
Henderson, who was a four-star recruit from Miami Columbus, has interceptions in each of his first two college games — and returned both for touchdowns.
“I’m happy for him because he is getting on the field as a freshman,” Columbus coach Chris Merritt told GN regarding Henderson. “He’s getting on the field in critical situations, and a couple of times the quarterback has hit him in the chest with the ball and he has done with it what he needs to do with it afterward — and that’s get it in the end zone.
