After some underwhelming classes in recent years, the Florida Gators need a haul on the defensive line in their 2020 recruiting class, especially in the middle.
And with summer just barely beginning, it seems like they’re going to get one, with former Kentucky commit Lamar Goods joining that contingent on Friday night.
Goods visited Florida last weekend as a Wildcat-to-be, then decommitted from Kentucky on Wednesday, putting the writing on the wall for him joining Florida’s flock in large font.
And while Goods hails from a region not known for churning out big-time football recruits — Connecticut — he is just that regardless, ranking as a four-star player in the 247Sports Composite.
