Spring practice hasn’t even started yet for Florida football, but one of its players is already on a list for a prestigious award.
Quarterback Kyle Trask made the cut on Westgate Superbook’s odds to win the 2020 Heisman Trophy presented to college football’s Player of the Year.
While he’s not at the top of the list, being on it is pretty amazing, especially for a college quarterback who had not started a game until the fourth game of last season.
The book gave Trask 60-1 odds to win the award.
Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields and Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence were at the top of the list at 4-1 odds each.
