Florida football continues to up its recruiting game as they have landed 4-star safety Mordecai McDaniel.
McDaniel originally committed to the University of Tennessee, but somehow had a change of heart and elected to join the Gators in 2020, according to 247Sports.
He plays for St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC and is rated No. 32 for his position nationally and the No. 7 overall recruit from the District of Columbia.
His stock rose tremendously in 2018 when he went from being unranked to the No. 10 prospect in the district, according to Rivals.
