Florida flips 2017 offensive lineman from Miami

Florida landed its second 2017 recruit in as many weeks Tuesday.

Miami Norland offensive tackle Kadeem Telfort flipped from his hometown Hurricanes and verbally committed to the Gators, announcing his decision on Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 323-pounder camped at UF last month and is rated a four-star recruit by Rivals. He also holds early offers from Louisville and N.C. State.

Telfort joins quarterback Jake Allen and wide receiver Lavarus Tigner in Florida's 2017 class. Allen, who pledged to UF last week, is No. 49 overall in the new Rivals100 rankings.

Verbal commitments are not binding until recruits sign their national letters of intent.
