The 10th seeded Florida Gators were eliminated from the SEC Tournament after a 3-1 second round loss to Ole Miss. Only one of the four combined runs was earned in the contest as the two ballclubs combined for five errors through the first 4.5 innings of play, the most in an SEC Tournament game since 2022.
Florida entered the contest swinging a hot bat, scoring 11 runs on 13 hits vs South Carolina the night before. Wednesday night was a totally different story. The Gators went 0-9 with runners in scoring position and 0-14 with runners on base.
