What turned into a fantastic Florida finish started with a single commitment early last Saturday night, and grew and grew and grew from there.
There was another commitment later Saturday, one more Sunday, followed by another Tuesday. By National Signing Day on Wednesday, as the faxes poured in, it had become a tidal wave. And it looked like it might never end.
Just when it appeared coach Jim McElwain’s third recruiting class might be complete, another fax arrived, this one from four-star wide receiver James Robinson, just minutes before the start of McElwain’s afternoon news conference.
Then, during the news conference, his phoned beeped, signaling the arrival of yet another future Gator, Clearwater running back Adarius Lemons.
