Florida baseball added their 5th transfer on Tuesday evening when Hawaii RHP Cooper Walls committed to UF via social media. Walls was the 103rd ranked prospect in the transfer portal, according to 64 Analytics.
The 6’5, 215-pound right hander posted a 3.73 ERA across 60.1 innings pitched as a true freshman last season. Walls pitched to a 3-3 record across 15 appearances including 13 starts, striking out 45 batters while walking 15. Walls earned All-Big West freshman pitcher of the year in 2025.
While Walls’ batting average against of .292 is fairly high, the California native limited damage by allowing just seven doubles and two home runs across 60.
