The Florida Gators picked up a commitment on Tuesday night from quarterback Nick Evers (6-3, 190, Flower Mound, TX. High) who has seen his stock rise quickly the last few weeks.
Evers was one of the first guys to pick up an offer from new quarterbacks coach Garrick McGee and Evers said he committed to Florida because of that and other reasons.
“Just the program itself, everything Florida has to offer, it’s honestly just the best fit for me,” Evers said on why he committed to Florida. “Obviously their football is top tier in the SEC, Coach [Dan] Mullen can really develop quarterbacks, McGee as well.
