The Florida Gators continued their recent surge of picking up top-rated prospects on Friday when an in-state receiver picked the Gators.
Receiver Eugene Wilson (5-11, 175, Tampa, FL. Gaither) committed to Florida over Texas A&M on Friday when he announced his decision.
“I will furthering my education and talent at the University of Florida,” Wilson tweeted.
Wilson has made multiple visits to Gainesville including one in the spring where he was able to sit down with receivers coach Keary Colbert.
“It was good,” Wilson said on his talks with Keary Colbert. “Being there, I saw it was more bigger receivers and not too many that got quickness and things that I could bring to the table.
