After stepping away from the Florida basketball program at the end of September, Yale transfer EJ Jarvis announced he would be retiring from the game of basketball.
Jarvis posted a statement on his Instagram account on Thursday announcing he would be stepping away from the game of basketball: “At this point in my career, I feel it would be best to pursue other opportunities in life. So with that being said, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the game of basketball.”
Despite not being a part of the Florida basketball program for long, Jarvis was sure to thank the fans:“To Gator Nation, while my time in Gainesville was shorter than expected, I want to personally say thank you for welcoming me with open arms.
