Jim McElwain’s time at Florida was tumultuous, but the 2018 Florida Gators will have an opportunity to turn their fortunes around pretty quickly. If anyone can straighten out the quarterback situation at Florida, it’s the former Gators offensive coordinator and current head coach Dan Mullen.
Feleipe Franks, Emory Jones or Kyle Trask can all succeed at quarterback under Mullen. There are similarities between the three and despite the silliness of the Gators spring game, there are reasons for excitement if you’re a Gator fan.
I took one primary lesson away from the UF spring game: the players were having fun.
