A few Florida players had some postgame fun with the Outback Bowl’s Bloomin’ Onion mascot after the Gators’ 30-3 rout of Iowa in Monday’s Outback Bowl in Tampa.
Sophomore lineman Tyler Jordan, who weighs 309 pounds, and a couple of his Gators teammates pretended to munch the massive onion, while the man inside the costume displays an expression of mock terror.
The result was one of the weirdest-looking tweets from an athletic department in 2017:
