On a week in which the Gators made history with their first win over the University of Texas in Florida history and knocked Texas out of the AP top 25, the Gators earned surprising honors in the process as well.
The Southeast Conference on Monday named Florida quarterback, DJ Lagway as the SEC offensive player of the week. And even more surprising was that head coach, Billy Napier joined him in being name SEC head coach of the week.

Lagway on Saturday against Texas was 21-for-28 and 298 passing yards.
