On the cusp of a second-straight 10-win season, Dan Mullen was named a semifinalist for the George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year.
In his second season, Mullen has led the Gators to a 9-2 record with only a game left against Florida State this season. The Gators are heavily favored to beat the Seminoles, which would secure back-to-back 10-win seasons for Mullen in his first two years at Florida and a bowl game left to play.
President Mark Dianno and the Maxwell Football Club released the complete list of 22 candidates on Wednesday. The semifinalist field was determined by the Club’s Selection Committee.
