Clemson dad Rex Ryan to make his ESPN debut at FSU spring football game

Former Buffalo Bills and New York Jets coach Rex Ryan is headed to ESPN.

The network announced the move Monday and said Ryan will be on Sunday NFL Countdown and SportsCenter, among other roles. His debut: calling Florida State's spring football game Saturday in Tallahassee.

That's an interesting first assignment. Obviously it crosses NFL/college lines, but there's more. Ryan's son, Seth, is a receiver and holder at Clemson. Ryan famously wore a Tigers helmet at a news conference during the 2015 run to the national title game. And his truck, apparently, has some Clemson paw prints on it.
