Last Thursday two of the Florida Gators’ biggest targets at the receiver position were on campus and both guys are Florida legacies.
One of those guys on campus was receiver Vernell Brown III (5-11, 170, Orlando, FL. Jones) who is the son of former Gators defensive back Vernell Brown.
“It was good, I was only there for about two hours,” Brown said of his visit to Florida last week. “I didn’t get to do too much but it was good. I met with Coach G [Billy Gonzales] the majority of the time and Coach Napier too.”
While on campus receivers coach Billy Gonzales explained to Brown just what he could do for his game if he picked Florida.
