On Saturday several of the top instate defensive backs were in Gainesville to see the Florida Gators spring practice and for the second junior day of the year.
Defensive back Derek Bermudez (6-2, 180, Jacksonville, FL. Sandalwood) was in town and enjoyed watching the Gators practice.
“It was good, just seeing how they practice was good,” Bermudez said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “I got to see what Coach [Torrian] Gray had to say but I had to leave early so I didn’t get to talk to Coach [Dan] Mullen. We talked to some of the players and tried on the jerseys.
