UF sophomore offensive lineman Martez Ivey recalls the moment he realized his days dominating at Apopka High were a distant memory.
It did not take Ivey long.
"My first game — against Kentucky," he said Tuesday. "I was going up to a linebacker and I thought I had him. I thought I had him cut off. He just flew right past me. I was just like, 'Damn!'"
Ivey then quickly cut off himself.
"Can I say damn?" he asked, eliciting laughter from reporters.
Ivey, who turned 21 last month, continues to adjust to the college game both on and off the field.
