Former Florida Gator starting pitcher, Brandon Sproat is absolutely dominating Triple-A with the Mets’ affiliate Syracuse Mets. The 6’3”, 215lb right-hander is 7-5 with a 4.10 ERA through 22 starts in 2025. Over the course of 101 innings, he has 86 strikeouts and a 1.26 WHIP.
Sproat saw things really take off in July, going 2-0 with a 0.67 ERA on the month. Through five starts (27 innings), he gave up just two earned runs on 14 hits, eight walks and struck out 33. Opposing hitters batted just .152 against him, and he walked out of the month with a 0.
