Florida added a big commitment for its 2018 class over the weekend when four-star wide receiver Justin Watkins announced his intentions to head to Gainesville.
“When I went on the visit, I liked it,” Watkins told GN. “It’s close to home for my family, which was another plus.”
Watkins had been offered by Florida’s previous staff, and Dan Mullen re-offered once he became coach.
“I think Coach Mullen is the right guy and the right fit. I think he really cares about his kids,” Watkins said. “You can tell it’s a different environment from the old staff.
