2025 MLB Draft: Gators third baseman Bobby Boser selected in 11th round by Oakland Athletics

Florida Gators third baseman Bobby Boser has been selected by the Oakland Athletics with the 320th overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. Boser is Florida’s 4th draft pick this year, joining Colby Shelton, Jake Clemente, and Pierce Coppola.

Boser spent just one year with Florida but may have been the Gators’ most impactful player in 2025, posting a .336 bating average and 18 home runs, which tied for the most on Florida’s offense last season. Boser also led the Gators in RBI with 67 and ranked second in slugging percentage at .613.

The 6’1, 215-pound infielder was the lone Gator to start all 61 games for UF in 2025, logging starts at third base, shortstop, and second base while earning 2025 SEC All-Defensive Team at third base.
