Florida 2016 WR Commit Preps To Visit Rival Georgia

Your Florida football recruiting news update for September 20th:

4-Star 2016 Hallandale (Fla.) wide receiver Joshua Hammond committed to the Florida Gators back in June. However, a strong showing at the Georgia Bulldogs' 7-on-7 team camp later in the summer opened UGA's eyes on him and prompted them to go after a flip.

They'll have a chance to get that flip done as Hammond has set up an official visit to Athens for October 3rd when the Alabama Crimson Tide come to Athens.

He's still considered a hard commit for Florida, but the threat is still there.

Hammond is currently ranked as the nation's No. 293 overall prospect in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports' industry-generated Composite Rankings.
