The Florida Gators are currently 3-3 overall and are 0-3 in three tries against the Georgia Bulldogs under current head coach Will Muschamp.

Following an abysmal 42-13 home loss to the Missouri Tigers two weeks ago (and a much-needed bye), the Gators aren't being given much of a chance to hang with the #9 Bulldogs in Athens.

However, CBS analyst Gary Danielson sees a scenario where the Gators could pull off the massive upset. He also stands behind the job Will Muschamp is doing in Gainesville.

“The air went out of (Florida) and they didn’t show up against Missouri, but the Georgia game is the perfect elixir for them,” he said in a phone interview with Andy Johnston of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “(Florida has) real prideful guys. Will is a great guy and a great football coach, and they have a chance without Todd Gurley playing for Georgia.”

“These games are always close. I think Florida will show up and they’ll be electrified to play the football game,” Danielson added. “If Georgia can figure out a way to make a couple of bad things happen to Florida, the Florida football players might go, ‘Here we go again. It’s not our year.’ This is a game Georgia should win, but I’ve watched a lot of these Florida-Georgia games. They seem to go right down to the last drive.”

CBS will broadcast the game with kickoff to come shortly after 3:30pm EST on Saturday.
