Florida Atlantic’s women’s basketball team’s losing streak continued after a 72-66 loss to Charlotte Thursday night in Boca Raton.
Both teams combined for 37 percent shooting from the field, but the 49ers turned the ball over five less times and knock down seven more free throws than the Owls.
Junior Sasha Cedeno led the Owls with 15 points, going 5-for-12 from the field.
“We just got to keep working, got to keep getting better and practice everyday,” said head coach Kellie Lewis-Jay. “I thought there were things that we did much better than we’ve done in any games.
