Less than a week until Florida Atlantic opens its season against Navy, the Owls are still without a starting quarterback.
FAU held a mock game on Friday night against scout teams to simulate the Navy game. It was supposed to be a final audition for the starting job. But De’Andre Johnson did not participate due to a nagging injury, and Jason Driskel and Daniel Parr couldn’t pull away from each other.
“We’ll just keep going, try to figure it out,” FAU coach Lane Kiffin said Saturday afternoon.
