A pair of junior college defensive ends announced their commitment to Florida Atlantic on Tuesday, with Tim Bonner and Ernest Bagner joining the Owls’ current recruiting class. Both players visited FAU last weekend.
Bonner, listed at 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, played last season at East Mississippi Community College after transferring from Louisville. He redshirted at Louisville and has three years of eligibility once he arrives in Boca Raton.
Bonner recorded 37 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries for East Mississippi CC, the same junior college that FAU quarterback De’Andre Johnson attended.
