Staff predictions: FAU takes on UAB in the Conference-USA championship

This is FAU’s second C-USA title game in the last three years.

The defense for the Owls has been a standout this season, especially cornerback Meiko Dotson who recorded two interceptions in the win against Southern Mississippi. It brings his total to eight which is the most interceptions in a single season in program history. Photo by: Alex Liscio.

FAU looks to win its third conference championship in the last three years against the defending champion, the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers on Saturday. With the win against Southern Mississippi last week, the Owls won the East and have the benefit of the game being played in Boca Raton.
